qiu zhongming, male, han ethnicity, cpc member, was born in november 1970 and started his career in july 1993. qiu is a professoriate senior engineer and holds a bachelor’s degree in nuclear reactor engineering from the department of power mechanics, shanghai jiao tong university. qiu has accumulated extensive experience in reactor core design, nuclear power technology research and development, project management, among others. qiu served successively as the director assistant and deputy director of department of reactor core design, director of general office and international business department, director of general technology department, president assistant and chief information officer of shanghai nuclear engineering research and design institute co., ltd, and then the vice president and member of the party committee of state nuclear power engineering company. since august 2019, qiu has served as the vice president of state nuclear power technology company & shanghai nuclear engineering research and design institute co., ltd.
