the 49th international congress and exhibition on noise control engineering (inter-noise), organized by the spanish acoustical society (sea) on behalf of the international institute of noise control engineering (i-ince), was hold on madrid, spain, from june 16th to 19th, 2019. delegation from shanghai nuclear engineering research & design institute (snerdi) was invited to attend the conference and exchanged experiences on industrial noise control technology development.
the annual inter-noise congress aims to disseminate information on the field of noise control engineering and to promote progress in all aspects of this field. the inter-noise 2019 was composed of plenary lectures, paper oral presentation and product exhibition. international innovation acoustic technologies, methods, tools and engineering applications on several key topics of acoustic materials, architectural and building acoustics, flow induced noise and vibration, and industrial noise for instance, were investigated by snerdi delegation.
applications of sound-absorbing porous media, micro-perforated plates, vibration isolation and restraint for mechanical systems, acoustical computer-aided engineering (cae) software and instrumentation for sound & vibration measurements could be referenced for noise control in nuclear power plant design, startup tests and reformation, especially for the main control room (mcr) noise issue. relationships to international experts and vendors on this filed were cemented for further technical support.
