hu guofeng, male, han ethnicity, cpc member, was born in may 1965 and started his career in july 1987. he is a professoriate senior engineer and holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial and civil architecture from the department of architectural engineering, tongji university. hu guofeng has led the general contracting project management for the large-scale advanced pressurized water reactor cap1400, one of china’s national science and technology major projects. he has 32 years of experience in civil architectural design, engineering project construction and nuclear power plant construction management. he has participated in the management of several nuclear power plant construction projects, and, as the site project management organization’s director, has successfully promoted the construction of the world’s first gen-iii ap1000 reactor, one of the gen-iii nuclear power technologies. he has served as the vice president of state nuclear power technology company & shanghai nuclear engineering research and design institute co., ltd since august 2019.
